Coliman Bananas from Mexico are limited on availability due to slow growth from cooler weather and rain. When it rains, they are unable to get into the muddy fields to harvest, causing delays. Equal Exchange Bananas from Ecuador are delayed due to port congestion. Many other banana growers are limited in fruit as well due to colder weather and overall low supplies. Availability is very tight, and we may continue to see some gaps in the coming weeks.
