Easy to peel, they have the perfect mix of sweetness, tartness and low acidity, with very little pulp, no seeds and taste like they are melting in your mouth. Satsumas have six to seven times as much synephrine, a natural decongestant, as other citrus. Four or five Satsumas have enough synephrine to equal the effect of a Sudafed tablet. Limequats are a cross between a key lime and kumquat. They have a sweet tasting skin and bitter-sweet pulp with a flavor similar to limes. Roll the limequat between your palms to get the juices flowing and release the essential oils. Eat them whole (yes, the seeds too) like a kumquat or use the skins to flavor deserts and drinks.
